Taiwan's Ministry of Education Visits Tekville Education for Exchange and Cooperation on Digital Transformation in Public Education


 


 

Tekville Education announced on the 25th that it had met with officials from Taiwan's Ministry of Education, the Academic Information Service, and professors from education universities. The meeting aimed to foster exchanges and cooperation between the two countries to promote digital education.

 

 

Taiwan's Ministry of Education visited Korea on the 21st to explore the systems and best practices of digital education in Korea and to establish a partnership to advance digital learning in Asia.

 

 

The delegation first visited the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) in Daegu, where they discussed the process of introducing and promoting AI digital textbooks and strategies to enhance digital learning. Following this, they held meetings with several EdTech companies and schools, including Tekville Education.

 

During the meeting with Tekville Education, the discussion focused on strategies for fostering collaboration between public and private sectors for the digital transformation of public education, as well as examples of classes using EdTech.

 

Key topics discussed included:

   Methods for digitizing public education

   Effective use of digital learning platforms

   Digital competency training for teachers

   Examples of collaboration between schools on digital education

   Digital-based education for parents

 

Tekville Education also introduced its flagship brand, Teacherville Remote Education Training Center, Korea’s first teacher content platform Ssamdongne, and the EdTech platform Change the Class (Chathess). Chathess, in particular, hosts over 100 domestic and international EdTech tools and includes AI courseware training for teachers, which is effectively utilized in school curriculum.

 

Lee Hyung-se, CEO of Tekville Education, commented, "It was a meaningful opportunity to share various perspectives with officials from Taiwan's Ministry of Education and academic experts on the development of digital education. For a successful digital transformation in education, supporting the enhancement of teachers' digital capabilities is essential.
