The 24th-anniversary ceremony included awards for long-term employees and the Tekville Corporate Culture Award, a presentation on the company’s 2025 vision and business direction, and a charity bazaar. Items donated and funds raised during the bazaar will be fully donated and used to support underprivileged children.
On the occasion of the anniversary, Tekville Education CEO Lee Hyung-se introduced the company’s slogan, "A Leading Digital Education Company Opening the Future," and shared his vision: "We will evolve beyond serving 700,000 teachers’ professional development to become a public education-based EdTech company that provides educational services to 5 million students."
The company’s flagship brand, TeacherVille Remote Education Training Institute (hereinafter "TeacherVille"), plans to be upgraded into a teacher-customized digital education platform based on AI-driven personalized services. "We will actively integrate AI technology into curriculum management, assessment, and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of teacher training and learner benefits, while providing a differentiated teacher training service that closely supports the digital transformation of public education in the AI era," the company stated.
Additionally, CEO Lee emphasized that the teacher knowledge-sharing platform 'SSamdongne' and the educational specialty shopping mall 'TeacherMall' will generate synergy as spaces where teachers’ ideas originate and lessons are created. By combining teacher training, lesson planning, and teaching tools into various package offerings, the company aims to expand its role as a teacher community and establish itself as Korea’s leading teacher-support platform.
The EdTech integrated marketplace 'chathess,' launched last year, is emerging as a new growth driver for Tekville Education. The company achieved a 464% increase in sales and a 423% increase in school usage in 2024. This year, it plans to enhance marketing efforts targeting schools and expand reseller and distribution networks for EdTech companies joining the platform to increase profitability.
Furthermore, through its subsidiary 'Njoy School Co., Ltd.,' established in 2023, Tekville Education is expanding its educational services for students. By utilizing AI and software, the company provides differentiated programs for after-school and all-day schooling initiatives, enhancing students' participation in public education and strengthening their digital competencies.
CEO Lee stated, "We will provide close support to ensure the successful adoption of changes in the education field, from teacher training to classroom innovation. Our goal is to build an educational environment where students, teachers, parents, and local communities grow together."
Meanwhile, Tekville Education has been conducting R&D in EdTech through its corporate-affiliated research institute, 'EdTech Research Lab,' since 2003. This year, the company will commercialize 'TERAS,' a SaaS-based international standard learning data collection platform developed over the past two years with support from the K-Cloud initiative. CEO Lee stated, "The TERAS platform will integrate vast learning data through collaborations with various EdTech companies and will be utilized for real classroom improvements and personalized learning support."
