Tekville Education's Chathess Launches 'Goodnotes Classroom' for Public Education

Tekville Education (CEO Lee Hyung-se) announced on the 19th that its EdTech marketplace, Chathess, has partnered with the global digital handwriting solution GoodNotes to launch a public education-focused ‘GoodNotes Classroom.’

GoodNotes is a globally renowned AI-powered digital note-taking application with 24 million monthly active users (MAU).

In February of this year, GoodNotes launched ‘GoodNotes Classroom,’ enabling real-time communication and assignment management between teachers and students, and it has been actively adopted in the public education sector.

With this collaboration, GoodNotes can now be used across all Dibut devices (including iPads, Android tablets, and Chromebooks) in South Korean elementary, middle, and high schools.

Through this platform, teachers can provide real-time feedback on students' work and leverage AI-powered automatic grading for more efficient assessments. Jihye Jeong, Head of Chathess Business Division, stated, "With this partnership, the integration of Dibut devices in Korean schools now allows students and teachers to access all of GoodNotes' features and content across various devices, including Galaxy Tabs and Chromebooks. This will provide a more innovative learning environment where more students and teachers can experience digital handwriting in education."

This initiative makes it easier for Korean teachers and students to adopt and utilize EdTech solutions. In particular, GoodNotes’ diverse features—such as EBS problem-solving support, AI-powered auto-grading, real-time feedback, and multimedia lesson support—are expected to enhance both learning efficiency and engagement. Students can freely take notes on a digital paper interface, while AI helps organize their responses, improving learning convenience.

As an integrated platform supporting EdTech adoption for Korean educators, Chathess plans to expand its service offerings following the launch of ‘GoodNotes Classroom.’

Additionally, with the new academic semester approaching, Chathess will introduce more international EdTech solutions such as Kami, Quizizz, and Notion to further support the digital transformation of public education.

Lee Chang-hoon, Head of Tekville Education’s EduCommerce Division, stated, "By expanding partnerships with global EdTech companies, Chathess is set to play an even more critical role in the Korean education market. We will actively support the adoption of innovative learning tools like GoodNotes in schools, including hosting a nationwide webinar for teachers on April 3."

Meanwhile, Chathess is currently offering a 20% discount on GoodNotes Classroom and running a purchase review event. More details can be found on the Chathess website.
