Tekville Education' Host the 2025 Digital sprout Challenge Competition
The Edtech company Tekville Education successfully hosted the "2025 Digital Sprout Challenge Competition."
Since being selected as the supervising organization for the Honam-Jeju Digital Sprout Project in 2022, Tekville Education has partnered with Creative Convergence Talent Education Institute, a specialized ICT and software education institution.
Through this initiative, the company has provided Digital Sprout Camp programs to over 11,000 students to date.
Digital Sprout is an educational initiative designed to bridge the digital education gap among elementary, middle, and high school students across the country.
It offers hands-on experiences with software (SW) and artificial intelligence (AI) education programs to enhance students' digital competencies.
The Digital Sprout Challenge Competition was organized to share and expand the achievements of the Digital Sprout Camp while fostering students' creative problem-solving skills.
The competition took place on February 15 at Naju Bitgaram Elementary School and was conducted in conjunction with the Digital Sprout Camp program.
A total of 80 students participated, not only from Naju but also from various regions across Jeollanam-do, including Haenam, Gangjin, Mokpo, and Gwangju.
The participating students took on 10 challenge tasks, utilizing drones, robots, VR devices, and AI image creation software.
These challenges included roles such as climate change data analyst, robot coordinator, drone project for saving the Earth, and virtual deep-sea research using VR, among others.
Students who successfully completed the most challenges were specially selected and awarded, marking a moment to celebrate achievements and discuss the continued development of the Digital Sprout Camp.
Park Ki-hyun, Head of EdTech at Tekville Education, stated, "This Digital Sprout Challenge Competition provided students with an opportunity to deepen their problem-solving skills by applying what they learned through Digital Sprout. By tackling challenges, they developed their creative problem-solving abilities and digital convergence skills. Moving forward, we will continue to promote and expand the excellence of Digital Sprout through outstanding programs."
From April 2024 to February 2025, Tekville Education operated five Digital Sprout programs for elementary, middle, and high school students in the Honam-Jeju region. These included three core digital competency programs and two specialized programs integrating school curricula and career exploration.
