Tekville Education’s Chathess Hosts ‘Chathess Saem: Lesson Chef’ to Share Digital Teaching Cases

Tekville Education’s EdTech marketplace, Chathess, held its first ‘Chathess Bootcamp’ of 2025 at Google Korea’s headquarters in Gangnam-gu.

Chathess has been conducting ‘Chathess Bootcamp,’ an AI courseware training program for teachers, helping them integrate EdTech into their lessons.

As part of these efforts, Chathess launched ‘Chathess Saem,’ a teacher research group dedicated to developing lesson content and discovering best practices in EdTech-powered education. Since its establishment last year, Chathess Saem has been hosting ‘Chathess Study,’ a voluntary research gathering held on the second Wednesday of every month.

This year, ‘Chathess Saem: Lesson Chef’ introduces a fresh concept to the Chathess Study program, focusing on creating and sharing digital lesson cases using various EdTech tools.

In January, Chathess hosted the ‘Chathess General Assembly’ to review its activities over the past year. A total of 61 teachers participated, sharing digital lesson cases categorized by EdTech tools and classroom/work applications.

Teachers explored ways to integrate tools such as Mathholic, JajakJajak, Plang, Reading&, and KiwiT into subjects like Korean, Math, and English. Additionally, they examined how platforms like Padlet, Kahoot, Google, ChatGPT, Canva, ThinkWise, and Raporafo could enhance both lesson delivery and teachers' administrative efficiency.

Chathess aims to continue discovering and expanding EdTech-driven teaching practices through ‘Chathess Bootcamp’ and ‘Chathess Study’ this year, further strengthening its role as a teacher community hub.

This month alone, a total of 120 in-service teachers participated in the 8th, 9th, and 10th cohorts of the Chathess Bootcamp, demonstrating overwhelming interest, with all seats filling up immediately after registration opened.

Additionally, the number of new full-time members of ‘Chathess ssam(teacher)’ has reached 83, marking a 70% increase compared to the same period last year.

Chathess is also set to introduce ‘AI Agent Michael,’ a personalized AI learning assistant designed to enhance lesson quality and support customized learning.

This innovation leverages the TELAS platform, a SaaS-based AI learning data platform developed by Tekville Education’s EdTech Research Lab.

‘AI Agent Michael’ aims to improve accessibility for digital classrooms by becoming the first in Korea to establish an integrated login (SSO) system in collaboration with various domestic and international EdTech companies

As the first AI agent tailored for Korean teachers, it is drawing significant attention from the education industry.

Lee Chang-hoon, Head of Tekville Education’s EduCommerce Division, stated, "This year, we plan to strengthen on-site promotions targeting teachers and schools to expand Chathess presence in public education. Chathess is not just a marketplace for purchasing EdTech products; it is optimized for public education, offering teacher training, budget solutions, lesson design, and classroom support. We anticipate even greater growth this year."

Meanwhile, Chathess provides a customized budget-matching service to help schools purchase products using their remaining budgets.
