with U.S. EdTech Company NearPod

Tekville Education (CEO Lee Hyung-se) announced on February 20th that it has signed a strategic partnership with NearPod (CEO Pep Carrera), a U.S.-based EdTech company.

Tekville Education, the parent company of the Teacherville Remote Education Training Institute, has been specializing in education-focused e-commerce and developing educational content and solutions for the past 23 years. It is a prominent EdTech company known for its research and innovative offerings in the field.

NearPod, a subsidiary of Renaissance Learning, offers an EdTech classroom program that leverages tablet PCs. It integrates with various platforms such as Google Classroom and presentation tools, offering multiple features that significantly enhance student engagement in the classroom.

Through this partnership, Tekville Education will provide NearPod to elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide at a special price, while also offering KRW payment options and postpaid services. In addition, NearPod class training will be provided through Tekville's EdTech platform, Change the Class (hereinafter referred to as "Chathess").

Chathess is an EdTech platform that supports AI courseware-based classes across various subjects by bringing together both domestic and international EdTech solutions for classroom use. Developed and operated by Njoy School, a subsidiary of Tekville Education, Chathess houses over 100 EdTech products from around the world, all aimed at promoting future-ready student education.

Recently, as the official partner of global EdTech companies such as NearPod, Kahoot, Book Creator, and Padlet, Tekville Education has been running joint purchase agency events for schools, offering these products at discounts ranging from 10% to 60%, with a one-year license period. The goal is to continue supporting schools in obtaining these EdTech products—previously difficult to purchase—at more affordable prices.

Recently, as the official partner of several overseas EdTech companies, including Nearpod, Kahoot, Book Creator, and Padlet, Tekville Education has been facilitating joint purchase agency events for schools. These events offer schools the opportunity to purchase EdTech products at discounts ranging from 10% to 60%, with a one-year license period. Tekville Education remains committed to continuously supporting schools by providing access to overseas EdTech products, which have traditionally been challenging to purchase, at reasonable prices.

Lee Hyung-se, CEO of Tekville Education, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: "We are delighted to establish the first partnership in Korea with NearPod, a world-leading EdTech company. Njoy School, our subsidiary, will support the digital transformation of public education through Chathess, and we will continue to propose future-oriented student education solutions through consignment operations of after-school programs and 'Neulbom(Always Spring) Schools'."
