Tekville’s Launches AI-Powered Commerce Service for Public Education

Tekville announced on August 7 that it has officially launched an AI-powered commerce service tailored to public education, leveraging its AI agent, MyCl. The service connects Tekville’s TeacherMall and Chathess platforms through AI to recommend teaching materials and digital learning tools based on teachers’ instructional needs.

MyCl’s Teaching Materials Finder allows teachers to enter the context of a lesson and instantly receive recommendations for suitable classroom materials. By reducing the need for repeated keyword searches and product comparisons, the tool helps teachers spend less time preparing for classes.

The service also offers a budget optimization feature. 

It automatically adjusts product combinations and quantities to match a given budget, reducing the inconvenience of manual calculations.

Recommended products can then be converted into required administrative documents, including quotations for submission through Edufine, business registration certificates, and copies of bank account information. Cart integration further supports a seamless process through to submission to school administrative offices.

MyCl also recommends AI and EdTech solutions based on a broad range of data, matching digital learning tools to specific classroom needs. It can also answer questions about whether a product qualifies as learning-support software and provide information related to the latest education policies, helping teachers make faster, better-informed decisions.

By connecting lesson planning, teaching-material and EdTech recommendations, quotation generation, and administrative processing within a single workflow, MyClass is designed to reduce repetitive and time-consuming tasks so that teachers can focus more on lesson development and supporting students.

MyCl was developed based on Tekville’s 25 years of experience in education, data from its community of 800,000 teacher members, and insights from an advisory group of active teachers. The service is currently being used for the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education’s AI Education Assistant project, while Tekville continues to expand its business with local education authorities.

Tekville aims to generate KRW 10 billion in annual revenue from MyClass alone and expand adoption to more than 3,000 schools this year.

Since its establishment in 2001, Tekville has expanded from teacher training into an integrated education business serving teachers, students, and parents. Its TeacherVille Distance Education Training Institute was established with authorization from the Ministry of Education and has received recognition including the Minister of Education Award and designation as an outstanding institution by the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS).

Through its corporate R&D center, the EdTech Research Institute, Tekville is also expanding its EdTech platform business using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
