Tekville’s Chathess Wins Sejong Office of Education’s AIEP Specialized Service Project
Tekville, led by CEO Hyung-se Lee, announced on June 5 that Chathess, its AI and EdTech marketplace, has been selected for the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education’s Artificial Intelligence Education Platform (AIEP) Specialized Service Development Project.
Through the project, Chathess will integrate and provide a range of leading domestic and global AI and EdTech services through Sejong’s AIEP, supporting the development of a blended teaching and learning environment where teachers can conveniently access and use various digital tools within a single platform.
In particular, Chathess will provide not only global EdTech solutions but also Korean AI and EdTech products that have completed field validation through the government-supported EdTech SoftLab program. Through this approach, the company aims to expand the use of AI in public education while contributing to the growth of Korea’s EdTech ecosystem.
Major services to be provided through the project include Padlet, a collaborative learning tool; Google Gemini, Google’s generative AI service; and ZEP Quiz, a metaverse-based quiz platform.
Domestic field-validated solutions include MyClass, Matholic T, Holling, Maeil Korean T, Dokdo, WOW Ideas, Dahatni, and QuizN. All of these products have completed EdTech SoftLab validation and can be used across elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
Chathess has previously participated in AI and EdTech implementation projects for the Jeonnam, Incheon, Jeju, and Gyeongbuk Offices of Education. Through these projects, Chathess became the first company in Korea to officially supply global EdTech services such as Padlet and Notion to local education authorities.
Chathess is a K-12-focused AI and EdTech marketplace featuring more than 200 domestic and global AI and EdTech products. It provides one-stop support tailored to the requirements of individual education offices, covering quotations, service operations, and technical support. Chathess supports the entire process from the adoption of AI and EdTech solutions to the establishment of practical environments in which teachers can effectively use them in the classroom.
The Sejong Office of Education’s Artificial Intelligence Education Platform is scheduled to officially launch at the end of June.
