TeacherVille Launches “Summer Hobby Special” for Teachers

Summer vacation is a valuable time for teachers to prepare for the new semester while also focusing on rest, recharging, and personal development. To support teachers in exploring new hobbies and taking time for themselves, Tekville has introduced a special program combining online training courses with hands-on activity kits.

Tekville, an AI and digital education company, announced on July 30 that Teacherville, its distance education training institute for teachers, is running the “Summer Hobby Special” during the summer vacation period.

The program is designed to give teachers an opportunity to learn and experience new hobbies during the break. Each package combines an online training course with the materials and equipment needed for the activity, including musical instruments, cooking tools, craft supplies, and exercise equipment. This allows participants to begin the course without having to purchase additional materials separately.

The program consists of nine courses across three categories: cooking and crafts, musical instruments, and exercise and wellness.

The cooking and crafts category includes courses such as cooking with a stainless-steel frying pan, macramé knot crafts, and pen drawing.

For musical instruments, beginner-friendly courses are available for acoustic guitar, ukulele, and kalimba. Participants receive the instruments along with learning materials and video content, making it easy for those with no previous experience to start from the basics.

The exercise and wellness category includes strength training using Pilates accessories, self-guided exercises for pain relief, and online personal training for posture improvement. The courses are designed to help teachers build healthy exercise habits regardless of time or location.

Teachers who wish to participate can apply for a hobby training and activity-kit package through the TeacherVille website. After receiving the materials, they can take part in the event by posting a photo review showing how they used the kit. Participants may also enter multiple times by applying for different packages and submitting a separate review for each one.

“Summer vacation is not only a time for teachers to prepare for the second semester, but also a valuable opportunity to return to interests and hobbies that may have been put aside during the busy school term,” said Sun-ok Lim, Director of the Teacherville Platform Business Division. “Through this Summer Hobby Special, we hope teachers can enjoy the pleasure of learning and the sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something themselves, while also taking time to recharge both physically and mentally.”
