Advancing teacher training, field validation, and global collaboration

Tekville Education has partnered with Seoul National University to expand AI (artificial intelligence) education across the entire learning lifecycle.

On the 9th, Tekville Education announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Center for Future Education Innovation under the Institute of Learning Sciences at Seoul National University to drive innovation and expansion in AI and digital competency education.

This agreement is designed for learners across all life stages, including elementary, middle, and high school students, teachers, university members, as well as adults and seniors. The partnership aims to enhance the quality of AI and digital education while promoting its practical adoption.

The two organizations plan to collaborate in various areas, including:

Joint planning, development, and operation of AI-based teaching and learning innovation programs utilizing “Mycl AI”

Co-development and implementation of AI and digital competency education initiatives for lifelong learners

Joint participation in government- and local government-funded projects

Research and project development based on industry-academia-research collaboration

Global partnerships and dissemination of outcomes

As the first collaborative project, the two institutions will jointly plan and develop a teacher training program focused on lesson design using Tekville Education’s AI service, “Mycl,” and will also conduct field validation.

In addition, they aim to establish a collaborative framework that connects educational practice, research, and industry, thereby strengthening the execution of AI-based education programs and building a sustainable model for educational innovation.

Hyungse Lee, CEO of Tekville Education, stated, “The core of AI education lies not in the technology itself, but in how it is applied. Through this partnership, we aim to enhance teachers’ ability to effectively utilize AI and develop practical AI education models that work in real classrooms.” He added, “When the research capabilities of universities are combined with the execution experience of industry, true educational innovation can be realized. We will contribute to building an AI education ecosystem that spans the entire learning lifecycle.”

Professor Chul-il Lim of the Department of Education at Seoul National University and Director of the Center for Future Education Innovation said, “Through this collaboration, we expect to present a new direction for AI and digital education and create meaningful changes that can be experienced in real educational settings.”
