A teacher’s day doesn’t end with the lesson. From lesson planning and assessments to parent notices, counseling records, and meeting minutes, countless administrative tasks consume teachers’ time. To ease this burden, Tekville Education has developed MyClass, an AI service designed exclusively for teachers. Unlike general-purpose AI, MyClass is optimized for the school environment, making it a noteworthy innovation. We spoke
with Park Ki-hyun, Head of EdTech at Tekville Education, about the origins, differentiating factors, and future vision of MyClass.

A. MyClass aspires to be an AI agent that truly understands the everyday life of teachers—hence the name “My Class.” It is not just a chatbot, but a school-education-specific AI platform that supports the full spectrum of teacher tasks, from lesson preparation and administrative work to personalized student feedback.
For more than 20 years, through services like TeacherVille, Ssamdongne, and Teacher Mall, we’ve closely observed teachers’ daily challenges. Compared to other OECD countries, Korean teachers face an excessive administrative burden, leaving them with little time to focus on lesson research and student guidance. MyClass was created to address this problem—giving teachers back their time and serving as a partner to strengthen their professional expertise.
A. While ChatGPT is powerful in providing vast knowledge, it is not directly applicable to school tasks. MyClass, on the other hand, automatically generates essential documents such as lesson plans, assessment schedules, parent notices, and counseling reports—and even supports HWP (Hangul) files.
It also enables selective use of multiple LLMs and incorporates MCP (Model Context Protocol) to realize a practical agent service. But the most important differentiator is that MyClass was built from a teacher-first perspective. Voices of practicing teachers were reflected in every stage of planning and development.
A. From the planning stage, we organized an advisory group of former teachers within the company as well as current teachers. We validated features through the Gyeonggi EdTech R&D Lab pilot project with elementary, middle, and high school teachers, ensuring even novice teachers could use the system with ease thanks to an intuitive UX. In short, MyClass is “a service made with teachers, for teachers.”
A. At present, we expect MyClass can cut teachers’ document preparation time by more than half. Through pilot schools, we will further verify its effects on lesson preparation efficiency, customized material creation, and designing participatory lessons.
A. I’d like people to see MyClass not just as a support tool but as an education-specialized AI created together with teachers.
First, it’s an agent platform that respects teacher autonomy, allowing teachers to directly design features they need. Second, it fosters an ecosystem where teachers can build, share, and spread services with one another. Third, it’s not a demo—it’s a practical solution ready for immediate classroom use.
A. Korea has about 12,000 schools, so 1,000 represents roughly 10%. With pilot school operations and our existing teacher networks, we believe this target is achievable. Tekville Education has built a strong trust network with teachers through services like TeacherVille and Ssamdongne, which gives us confidence in reaching this goal.
A. One of the biggest burdens for teachers is entering data into NEIS (National Education Information System). We’ve built an MCP server using NEIS’s open API to reduce repetitive inputs, and we plan to expand integration with other public systems as well.
We’re also preparing for overseas expansion. Based on the validated model in Korea, we aim to provide practical, field-friendly AI platforms abroad. Initially, we’re considering pilot projects in Asian countries with education systems and administrative environments similar to Korea’s. Later, we will localize our platform to align with each country’s policies and cultural context, ensuring it resonates with teachers.
Ultimately, our goal is not just exporting functions, but setting a new global standard as a teacher-friendly AI platform.

A. For 25 years, Tekville Education has worked hand-in-hand with schools, leading digital transformation in education. Along the way, we’ve reaffirmed that “the quality of education cannot exceed the quality of its teachers.”
With MyClass, our overarching goal is to complete an Agentic AI-based public education platform that transforms the digital education ecosystem together with teachers. We aim not just to supply good content or apply the latest technologies, but to bring real change—helping teachers teach better, students engage more deeply, and schools operate more efficiently.
To this end, we are advancing AI- and big-data-driven personalized training and lesson solutions, while integrating our services—TeacherVille, Ssamdongne, Teacher Mall, and Chathess—into one cohesive platform. This will create a one-stop ecosystem connecting training, resource sharing, teaching material purchases, and EdTech utilization.
It’s also crucial to create inclusive digital education environments, reaching not only metropolitan areas but also rural, island, and socially disadvantaged communities. Building on this, we plan to expand globally through teacher training programs and entry into developing education markets.
In the end, our vision is that no teacher is left behind in digital transformation, and every student has fair access to digital learning benefits. “MyClass, the AI that knows teachers best,” will be the trusted partner leading that change.
